Well, our Nero turned into a 9 mile hike after figuring out the campground in Mount Laguna doesn’t open until April 15. This was after we stopped in to resupply and eat lunch at the café in town. We left around four to hike four more miles to the camp spot we are at now which has the most gorgeous views so far. I’m happy to have successfully resupplied for the first time in town. I picked up some more small bandaids for my blisters and body glide for my thigh chafe. The town was right off the trail but the next one is Julian and it is 4 miles up the road so it will be our first hitch in the town.
